Seasonal Giving

Ritter Center operates these seasonal programs, due to the generosity of in-kind donations from the community.

  • Back to School – In July through mid-August, Ritter Center collects backpacks, school supplies, and department store gift cards for its Back-to-School Program, which helps ensure that children start the school year prepared to learn and achieve scholastically.
  • Thanksgiving – Ritter Center collects frozen turkeys and grocery store gift cards to distribute to low-income families, along with traditional side dishes to ensure that all families have a reason to be thankful.
  • Holidays – Our Family to Family Holiday Program allows generous community members and groups to “adopt” a less fortunate family for the Holidays. Donors can begin signing up for this program in October and then shop for their adopted family with a provided gift wish list.

Ritter Center is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable organization. Federal Tax I.D. number: 94-2675517. All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.
