Her advocacy for underserved communities, her leadership in philanthropy, and her commitment to strengthening Marin County make her an inspiring force for good.

Hope & Resilience Honoree: Jalynne Allen

Ritter Center is honored to recognize Jalynne Allen as our Hope & Resilience Honoree, celebrating her extraordinary courage and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Jalynne’s journey is one of strength, survival, and transformation—a testament to the power of community support and personal resilience.

Once a successful master gardener and dedicated single mother, Jalynne’s life took an unexpected turn when financial hardships and personal struggles led to homelessness. For six long years, she navigated shelters, hospitals, and uncertainty, all while battling the deep challenges of substance abuse and loss.

Through it all, she never gave up. With the support of Ritter Center, she found the stability she desperately needed—food, healthcare, and ultimately, a home. Today, she stands as an inspiration, showing that even in life’s darkest moments, hope is never lost.

Jalynne’s story reminds us that recovery is possible, resilience is powerful, and community makes all the difference. We are proud to celebrate her strength and determination as she continues to rebuild her life and inspire others on their own journeys to healing.
