Our mission is to prevent and resolve homelessness and improve the health, dignity and well-being of people living in poverty in Marin County by providing high-quality, culturally sensitive, easily accessible medical care and social services.

Our Story

At Ritter Center we believe housing is a right, healthcare is a right, and food security is a right.

We provide medical, behavioral health, housing and food services to Marin County residents experiencing economic insecurity and homelessness. With over 40 years of experience, we have built industry-leading knowledge and collaborative partnerships with county agencies, health partners, and like-minded organizations to help people overcome barriers to aid and create complete support solutions that sustainably improve people’s lives.

Ritter Center began when a small number of Marin residents came together when they realized that many people in our community were not getting their basic needs met.
