Volunteer at Ritter Center

Volunteers help Ritter Center prevent homelessness and serve those who are living in poverty or homeless in Marin County. We have a large dedicated group of volunteers without whom we could not accomplish everything that we do.

We have opportunities for volunteers to work directly with our clients in our Food Pantry, help with fundraising and outreach, assist at special events, and more! Click on an opportunity below to learn more and sign up for a shift through our super easy scheduling site: POINT. The site will walk you through a quick account set up (it only requires your name and email!) so you can reserve your spot.

Volunteers provided over 2,000 hours of service at Ritter Center in 2022. By signing up for an opportunity you will be lending support to vulnerable community members, working collaboratively with a team from diverse backgrounds, and learning more about how Ritter Center operates.

We ask that all of our volunteers are over the age of 18 or have a parent/guardian complete our consent form. Any volunteers under the age of 13 must also be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entirety of their shift.

If you are looking for corporate or group volunteering opportunities OR have any other questions about volunteering opportunities at Ritter Center, please call Annie Everett, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 415-940-9999 or email [email protected]

Thank you for your interest and time!
