Thanks to every donor who has donated so far! #GivingTuesday was a great success, providing a super boost this giving season, but we still have a ways to go to meet our $450,000 year end goal. Can you help clients like Sandi and make a gift by midnight Dec 31, 2021?
Sandi, a dedicated mom of three, relies on Ritter Center’s food pantry throughout the year to ensure her family doesn’t go hungry. Over the holiday season, she receives a Thanksgiving meal kit and gift cards to help her celebrate the holidays with her loved ones and provide gifts for her children.
Unfortunately, as the pandemic continues and poverty expands, more local families are finding themselves in dire situations like Sandi’s, often having to make the difficult choice between paying rent or buying food. No one should go hungry and everyone should have a home.
A ray of hope for Sandi and thousands of others, Ritter Center provides housing, rental assistance, nutritious food and living essentials, healthcare, holiday programs, and more, to support them through tough times… thanks to the kindness of our steadfast donors.
Many families wonder if they will eat a holiday dinner or have gifts for their children. That’s where you come in.
Your gift will help fund our 2021 seasonal holiday programs and provide vital support for our health and social services for the coming year:

To keep you, our staff, and clients safe, and prevent the spread of COVID, we are unable to collect toys, gifts, or food from individuals for our holiday programs, this year, and will again purchase and distribute food, personal care items, and gift cards to families and individuals in need. The best way to help is to give online or send a donation via check. (Exceptions made for donations prearranged from groups/corporations/suppliers – see below)*.
This way, we can meet community needs equitably and safely.
